I cover many subjects, from ethical decision-making to advanced clinical techniques, ensuring you are well-equipped to tackle the evolving challenges in the mental health field. Each session is designed to empower you with practical application, allowing you to integrate new knowledge into your work immediately.

Since transitioning into social work, I have leveraged my extensive experience and diverse skill set in planning, conducting, and administering educational classes and programs designed to enhance military personnel's skills, knowledge, and abilities. As a dedicated social worker, I have taught various courses that delve into critical subjects. These include effective de-escalation techniques to manage conflict, understanding and addressing compassion fatigue, establishing and maintaining professional boundaries, and the thoughtful use of technology and self-disclosure in practice. Additionally, I focus on trauma-informed care and supervision, ensuring that practitioners are equipped to support those who have experienced trauma. My work also emphasizes culturally responsive practices, particularly when engaging with Black American clients, fostering an environment of understanding and respect that acknowledges their unique experiences and challenges. I have also worked as an adjunct professor for Augsburg University and provided training with People Incorporated.
